A.P.C. Open Their Doors In Sydney
Words Kate Ross
Sydneysiders can finally breathe easy: Following the outstanding success of their Melbourne store, French label A.P.C. (Atelier de Production et de Création) have opened their first standalone Sydney boutique in Surry Hills.
Founded by Tunisian-French designer Jean Touitou in 1987, the Parisian brand has accumulated a cult-like following, renowned for its stripped-back designs, use of quality, well-cut fabrics and sleek, yet masculine lines. And the new Crown Street store, dipped just below street level, is just as beautifully aesthetic and polished as the clothing it houses.
Long-term wearers of those infamous raw selvage denim jeans and ready-to-wear separates will know that Incu have stocked A.P.C. since 2006. But now with an entire boutique to play with, A.P.C.’s complete range of Men’s collections along with the denim range and accessories can be found gracing the rails and shelves of their new Sydney store.
